Last year I named Titan MY brand of the year for 2019 and expectedly many were shocked and surprised and assumptions flew left, right and centre as to WHY? Clearly people overlook reasons and cannot respect opinions with reasoning - everyones an expert nowadays lol. I am no expert but reviewing supplements for over 8 years and using them for well over a decade I kinda know thing... or three.
So revisiting a product is pretty much needed as I still get asked what is my favorite protein and why - there are a ton of categories out but this is a under the category of "WHEY ISOLATE" but with a twist... A big twist at that. This is Native. I have grown old saying this but here it is, what is NATIVE protein:
"Native Whey protein is arguably the cleanest, least processed whey protein available, Native whey has unique functional and compositional properties compared to traditional cheese whey. Native whey contains an inherently high concentration of the branched chain amino acid, leucine, which is probably the most important amino acid to human physiology and performance. Leucine is the anabolic trigger that stimulates the body to release natural insulin, and promotes protein synthesis, which leads to increased muscle mass and body strength. Is is also higher in the amino acids: tryptophan and cysteine. Tryptophan increases serotonin, which helps support endurance during exercise. Cysteine is a pre-cursor to the most abundant and naturally occurring anti-oxidant in the body – glutathione."
So in a mini nutshell, regular whey is obtained from the cheese making process- Native is obtained from the milk. Its incomperable to regular whey protein - SO NATURALLY ITS IN ITS OWN CLASS.
This is a native whey isolate as mentioned and as seen, virtually lactose free and basically the only caloric value in this is protein which is what YOU WOULD expect from a proper whey isolate. Whey Isolate is quick digesting making it easy to digest and pretty much a better choice as a post workout or pre workout whey protein as it causes little to no bloat - but this one is even better and really outstanding to say the least. What I absolutely appreciate is the fact this tastes amazing. Both flavors offer a complex taste yet its so pure to kinda fathom how they just managed to pull it off. Used as personally intended it is a gem and its the gosh dang best I (mina, me, myself) have used and its why I rated it the "whey" I did and advise everyone to give this a bash if you are looking for the best isolate you can buy imo where taste nor price isn't overlooked. Enjoy the upcoming categories.
Taste
Double milk chocolate 9.5/10
Absolutely my favorite chocolate I think I have actually ever had, easily the best tasting isolate I have had. Its smooth, yet has a sweet cocoa milk taste that I thoroughly enjoy.
Peanut butter nutter 9/10
Another absolute win, this has a slight cocoa taste but has a nutty peanut butter taste thats totally unique and in most cases addictive - again to get so much out of an isolate flavor and texture wise is just outstanding.
Purity

21.5 / 25 x 100
86%
Easily one of the most pure whey isolates out!
Texture and mixability
As pictured - Smooth AF mixes up in a shaker with absolute ease about 5/10 secs, this even mixes up in a glass and mixed in with a teaspoon with ease - sheer class and quality.

Zero floaties!

The powder is slightly more coarse than thought but don't let it fool ya... this mixes up so easily and instantaneously.
Pricing
Considering the quality and processes at hand you can easily expect this to cost an arm and a leg like other imports... even though they ARE NOT native. Yet Titan Native Isozero is currently ONLY R399 for 28 servings.

OVERALL
With all the valid points, this still remains my favorite whey isolate and certainly will be for many out. Titan has certainly done their homework and have produced a product of exceptional quality that's rarely ever done because to them its about creating the best and not just a profit. I haven't and won't take my words back nor my huge rating of 9.7/10 because it is that good and how much more reiteration can I possibly give!
